Introduction
Paramedics are often the first responders to any emergency situation, making split-second decisions that save people’s lives. Mayland offers options for current EMT’s or currently-credentialed certificate Paramedics seeking to advance your education that will allow you to earn your Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Science.
Practical skills are learned through demonstration, simulated lab experiences, and hands-on practice led by credentialed, highly-qualified EMS professional educators. You will get hands-on experience during unique hospital clinical opportunities at our region’s hospitals; the field internship portion is completed at our local EMS providers.
