Introduction
The School of Dentistry, once the Department of Dentistry, was founded in March 2011. Dentistry is a 5-year undergraduate program that authorized to grant students bachelor degree. A Brand Construction Discipline for Undergraduate in Hubei Province, Dentistry is the characteristic specialty of Hubei University of Medicine.
The Dentistry School consists of a first, second and third department; established based on the programs of Taihe Hospital and Dongfeng Hospital. There are 18 teachers, professors or associate professors, 4 master tutors, and 31 teachers are hold doctorate or master’s degrees.
The two newly built Dentistry Experimentation Center consists of 6 laboratories (3 labs respectively) equipped with advanced instruments to ensure the quality of experimental teaching, 10 training hospitals, and 3-A Level Hospitals in Hubei, Shanghai, Chongqing and Shanxi, available for the students to hold internships. The School of Dentistry one Provincial Excellent Course and three University’s Excellent Courses.
