While earning your diploma in Medical Assisting, you’ll acquire the necessary skills to assist physicians, conduct lab work, suture wounds, take vital signs, and interpret results. Graduates of the program are also eligible to take the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification exam offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
