Becker College School of Animal Studies and Natural Sciences
Introduction
Becker College is one of the 25 oldest institutions in the U.S., tracing its history from the union of two Massachusetts educational institutions—one founded in 1784 with a charter signed by American Revolutionaries John Hancock and Samuel Adams, and the other in 1887. Today the College’s nearly 1,700 students live and learn on the College’s two distinctively New England campuses, located six miles apart, in the heart of Massachusetts.
Becker College is a distinctive small college that has long been recognized for its intimate learning environment and cutting edge educational programs. The College continues to strengthen that legacy, gaining national recognition in emerging programs such as Animal Science, Video Game Design, and Nursing.
