Introduction

The Adapted Physical Education Added Authorization authorizes teachers to provide adapted physical education services to students ranging in age from 3 through 21 years who have a developmental delay and/or any disability within the 13 eligibility categories named in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

You’ll add to your skills and enhance your marketability for teaching opportunities in less than a year. We make the program easy to manage for a working professional with our blended online and in-person model, and you’ll dive deep into related coursework, research, and practical training. This program is for those who already have a single-subject teaching credential in physical education, a multiple-subject teaching credential, or an education specialist credential.
