Since all classes are online, students will not have to appear at classes. Schedules may not be as stringent when taking lessons online. Students can work on and carry out assignments when they are ready and at their personal pace. In several online degree courses, students are not expected to take elective classes unless needed by their major. This allows students to zero in on and study particularly what they need to learn for their business. For many students who have a passion for to learn information relevant to their major, online degree programs work excellent as this approach will save time and aid students gain their degree faster.

Biochemistry and pathobiochemistry deals mainly with biochemical and molecular biological problems of biomacromolecules, i.e. proteins and enzymes, lipids and nucleic acids, as well as their structural and other important low-molecular substances in nutrient systems. The aim of the study also clarifies their mutual substance metabolism and their role in the regulation of life processes such as hormones, neurotransmitters, growth factors, receptors, antibodies, signal molecules etc. -

Functionally defined discipline that studies regulatory functions of organs in response and adaptation of specific systems of the organism to changes in the external and internal environment in normal and pathological states. There is dominance of transition from studies of indirect manifestations of certain functions to studies of their own functional and regulatory mechanisms at the cellular and molecular level in order to use the acquired knowledge for the prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of human diseases. -

Postgraduate study in Physiology and Pathophysiology is focused on the investigation of functions of organs and organ systems during responses and adaptations to changes in the external and internal environments in health and disease. The transition from studies of indirect manifestations of certain functions to their own functional and regulatory mechanisms at the cellular and molecular levels predominates. The acquired knowledge is fundamental for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human diseases. -

The aim of the study is the dynamics, relationships and functional characterization of basic structural components of eukaryotic cells under normal - physiological conditions and in pathological processes, as well as in their modeling. Furthermore, the general expressions of functional cells such as cell cycle, movement etc., including its regulatory mechanisms. Methodical landmark is vytochemie, in situ hybridization, electron microscopy, image analysis, a biological experiment in vivo and in vitro. This program overlaps with a number of other fields, particularly in molecular biology, biochemistry, and physiology. -

The aim of the study also clarifies their mutual substance metabolism and their role in the regulation of life processes such as hormones, neurotransmitters, growth factors, receptors, antibodies, signal molecules etc. A very important field is also research into biological membranes, membrane transporters, subcellular components, energy transformations, extracellular matrix and the role of the second messengers in cell regulation. The research focused on the role of free radicals in terms of their action as mutagens, on the research of other toxic agents for nucleic acids and biomembranes and on the research of carcinogenesis and atherogenesis. The methodological field requires knowledge of fundamental techniques and separation and functional characterization of biomacromolecules as well as low-molecular biochemical components of cells and body fluids, or molecular biology techniques, or cell and tissue culture cultivation. -

Doctoral (Ph.D.) study program in Human Physiology and Pathophysiology provides an introduction into the methodology of scientific work with special interest at the characterization of function and regulatory mechanisms of the human body in the healthy and diseased organism. Study of molecular mechanisms predominates with the aim to use theoretical findings in the prevention, therapy, diagnostics, and rehabilitation of human diseases and disorders. Standard and international alignment is confirmed by the state examination in the field of specialization and the defense of thesis which reflects graduate's knowledge in his specialization, level of mastering modern methodology, and his invention in the solution of scientific problems. The program is linked to many fields of clinical medicine. The standard length of study is four (4) years. -

Doctoral study program in Biochemistry and Pathobiochemistry deals with the chemical and biological characterization of biomolecules and their building units in health and diseases. The program deals with their mutual transformation, with their role in the regulation of physiological processes and with their disorders. An important task is to study the biological membranes, subcellular components (organelles), energy transformations and the role of extracellular matrix and second messengers in the cell regulations. Branch also focuses on the role of free radicals in carcinogenesis and atherogenesis. The study program is closely related to molecular biology and genetics as well as to many basic and clinical biomedical fields, especially to the clinical biochemistry. -
