Introduction
The PhD program in Vision Sciences is an interuniversity and interdisciplinary program, with a vocation for international collaboration and a high commitment to the modern research training that is expected in the biomedical field.
The Doctorate in Vision Sciences is made up of 9 Groups of Excellence from 5 universities, in 5 different Autonomous Communities, coordinated from the University of Valladolid through the Castilla y León Group of Excellence IOBA-GR217. All of them have an interdisciplinary profile and, as a whole, provide teaching and research experience in the main aspects that make up the Vision Sciences.
It is aimed at graduates of degrees derived from the old degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Physics, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Statistics, from the old Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial and Electronics, and from the old diplomas in Optics and Optometry and Nursing.
