Introduction
The Master of Science with options to Agronomics, Veterinary, is a program of 169 credits with a flexible modality, tutoring with a focus on collaborative research and focused on the interests of the student, who upon admission opts for one of the following two areas of knowledge : Agronomic Sciences or Veterinary Sciences.
Students who opt for the Area of Agronomic Sciences develop a research project on Production and Food Safety or on Management of Agroecosystems and Natural Resources. For their part, students who opt for the area of Veterinary Sciences develop a research project related to Animal Production and Health. During the four academic semesters, the student designs and develops his thesis research, presents semiannual progress seminars, takes different compulsory and elective subjects, and carries out complementary activities that train him as a researcher and specialist in the area. All students carry out a part of their academic and research activities outside the UAA, as a requirement of complementary activities and academic mobility. Student mobility is supported by the UAA and generally backed by some inter-institutional collaboration agreement. At the end of their program, each student generates at least one research and/or technological development product derived from their thesis, in collaboration with their Tutoring Committee.
Its lines of Generation and Application of Knowledge are:
Agricultural Sciences Area
- Production and Food Safety
- Management of Agroecosystems and Natural Resources
Veterinary Sciences Area
- Animal and Aquaculture Production and Health
