A bachelor is an academic degree program that helps prepare students for a future career or to continue their education. Bachelor’s degrees can be earned in about three to five years depending on student achievement as well as the requirements of each specific degree program.

Global health is an interdisciplinary field that reaches across the disciplines of medicine and public health into fields such as anthropology, international relations, economics, law, demography, sociology, and developmental studies. Its aim is to understand health conditions around the world and develop solutions for improving conditions and reducing disparity. 

The formal higher education system of Finland is the 7-3-2-2 pattern. The university takes two years in vocational or technical education and finally two-year pre-tertiary education. Finland also has several public as well as private universities that have enabled accessibility of higher education to students.
