Already have a career in a profession that you love, but you know that you could better serve your patients by furthering your education? The RN to BSN program at the University of Saint Francis is designed to help licensed registered nurses with a diploma or Associates degree to earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The RN to BSN program will prepare you to practice nursing with individual clients, families, groups, and communities in a variety of settings. Throughout the RN to BSN program, you’ll have the opportunity to fulfill leadership roles, as well as evaluate and apply evidence-based findings to improve health outcomes. Knowledge from humanities and social and physical sciences are synthesized with nursing theory in order to enhance professional practice. We’ve structured our program in a way that provides the flexibility needed to balance life and school obligations. Courses are offered in eight-week sessions. We offer two eight-week sessions each academic term: fall, spring, and summer. You can enroll on a full-time or part-time basis. You have the opportunity to complete the program in as little as 12 months. The RN to BSN program requires 13 credit hours of elective/transfer/prior learning credits. Students are able to transfer in some—if not all—of those credits at the point of admission. Others may choose to use professional experience or to take elective coursework to fulfill this requirement. A leadership immersion practicum is integrated into the program through a two-course sequence in which students plan and lead... [-]
