The Ellen Finley Earhart Department of Nursing at Park University was initiated in 1987 with the Associate Degree program.
Building on the premise of the Park University Associate Degree Program, the BSN Completion Program provides a career mobility path for the Associate Degree RN to continue their nursing education. The program is congruent with the Park University vision and mission as well as the vision and mission of the Nursing Program.
The BSN Completion Program is an online degree that is offered in eight-week sessions and is designed to provide a flexible format. This career mobility program gives students an opportunity to expand their nursing knowledge and customize their plan of study in the arts, sciences, and humanities to fit their personal interests. The full program is typically completed in 18 months, though Park University allows a maximum of five years to complete all degree requirements.
The BSN Completion Program at Park features:
- No residency requirement.
- Multiple starting dates during the academic year.
- Access to a vast online library and high-quality educational resources.
- Faculty with advanced degrees, teaching experience and clinical practice in diverse nursing specialties.
The Ellen Finley Earhart Nursing Program is accepting applications for the BSN Degree Completion program. Applications will be accepted year round. To start the process, contact the Department of Nursing for detailed instructions about the application process, submission of documentation and the admission process.
You can transfer non-nursing credits if you earned a “C” or higher in each course and if they are equivalent in content to the course we require. Contact the Nursing Program office for a pre-admission educational plan review. (The Nursing Program awards accepted students 60 hours of course credit for your RN license.)
